Dr. Tim Melton was raised in Riverton, Utah; and graduated from Bingham High School in South Jordan.
Following high school, he attended Brigham Young University – Idaho on an academic scholarship, graduating with honors. He was selected as the State of Utah’s optometry recipient of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education and attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. He completed externships at The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Melton has clinical experience in primary care optometry, treatment, and management of ocular disease, cataract surgery, and care for patients desiring LASIK and PRK. He is fluent in Portuguese and is a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Melton currently resides in Riverton, Utah. and enjoys skiing, sports, outdoor activities, and traveling.
