Dr. David Parkinson was raised in a small farming town in Idaho before he attended and graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Parkinson worked as the health coordinator at Mountainland Head Start in Provo, Utah. There he helped connect families whose pre-school aged children needed vision, dental and medical health examinations with appropriate providers. He then headed to Pacific University College of Optometry where he gained competency and clinical skill, graduating Magna Cum Laude. His clinical experience has involved primary care optometry, specialty contact lenses, treatment and management of ocular disease, and care for patients desiring LASIK, PRK, intraocular contact lenses, or cataract surgery. He thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to work with and aid people in achieving their best visual potential. He currently resides in Orem, Utah with his wife, Tara, and their two boys.
