A Visionary in Optometry: Dr. Matthew Orgill's Path to Excellence

Dr. Matthew Orgill was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florida, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. Dr. Orgill attended Pacific University College of Optometry on scholarship with the U.S. Navy. After graduating from his optometry program, he served as a lieutenant in the Navy in North Carolina, Japan, and Illinois before joining Hoopes Vision. Dr. Orgill enjoys working with patients of all backgrounds and is particularly interested in visual perception and color vision.
