Phillip C. Hoopes, MD is one of the most recognizable names in corrective vision surgery. He was one of the first laser eye surgeons in the United States. He is the most experienced LASIK surgeon in Utah and one of the most experienced in the country.

Dr. Phillip C. Hoopes, Jr. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained corneal specialist. He is the medical director of EyeSurg of Utah, Hoopes Vision’s on-site ambulatory surgery center.
Michael J. Bradley
Dr. Michael J. Bradley is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellowship-trained cornea specialist. His surgical specialties include laser-assisted cataract and clear lens exchange procedures, laser refractive surgery, and the newest cutting-edge cornea transplant techniques.
O. Claron Alldredge, Jr.
In the summer of 2015, Dr. O. Claron Alldredge, Jr. rejoined Hoopes Vision after a professional hiatus of three years, during which he served as President of the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Steven H. Linn
Dr. Linn has been involved in the care of refractive surgery patients for over 15 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University and his optometric degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Renee McIntosh graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Science. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 1999.
Thomas P. R. Dutson
After earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah, Dr. Dutson attended Southern California College of Optometry where he received his Doctorate of Optometry with honors.
David M. Parkinson
Dr. David Parkinson was raised in a small farming town in Idaho before he attended and graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho. After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Parkinson worked as the health coordinator at Mountainland Head Start in Provo, Utah.
Dr. Michele Avila is an alumna of The University of Kansas where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Kirk Drennan was born and raised in Sandy, Utah; and graduated from Brighton High School in Cottonwood Heights. While attending Brigham Young University as a Trustees Scholar, Dr. Drennan discovered his love of eye care, working as an optometric and ophthalmic assistant.
Dr. Tim Melton was raised in Riverton, Utah; and graduated from Bingham High School in South Jordan. Following high school, he attended Brigham Young University – Idaho on an academic scholarship, graduating with honors.
