VANCE LONG: My name is Vance Long. I’m a former professional baseball player and the current BYU baseball coach, the head baseball coach at Brigham Young University. And I looked into having LASIK surgery for the last 10 or 12 years. But I was not satisfied with the technology that it was going to be able to leave me in a position where I didn’t need to wear glasses anymore. And also a comfort level where I knew my vision was going to be all right. I chose the Hoopes Vision Center because of their up to date technology. They stay right at the cutting edge with all the machines that--the laser technology that is now available. Their professionalism, the comfort that I had not only with the doctors themselves, but with their staff was just outstanding. I’m very, very satisfied with the vision that I now have, not being tied down to having glasses anymore, which was the main reason that I looked into having LASIK surgery.
