Real Salt Lake is gearing up for their first full season in the new Rio Tinto Stadium here in Sandy Utah. The team has been busy training of course, but some are looking to improve their game on other levels as well. Real’s assistant coach and former Major League Soccer player Robin Fraser recently came into Hoopes Vision looking to get rid of the contact lenses that he had dealt with for over a decade. Robin previously played for Los Angels Galaxy, Colorado Rapids, and Columbus Crew, and was named MLS Defender of the Year in 1999. He has worked as an assistant coach for Real since 2007. After Robin’s initial free LASIK exam, he was found to be a good LASIK candidate, and had his blade-free IntraLASIK surgery on January 19th. According to Robin, his vision after LASIK is clearer than it had been with contacts!
