Apa, nicknamed “Super Sherpa”, is a Nepalese Sherpa mountaineer who holds the record for reaching the summit of Mount Everest more times than any other person. On May 22 2010, Apa broke his own record as he reached the summit for the 20th time as part of the Eco Everest Expedition 2010. Apa and his family currently reside in Draper, Utah. He is dedicated to improving education and living conditions for the people of Nepal. We are happy for his success, and look forward to seeing him again soon.
